Health & Wellness Coaching

Wellness coaching begins with an entry point session and a full evaluation of eight aspects of wellness:  health, recreation, friends & family, career, physical environment, romance, money, and personal growth. 

Together, we will evaluate your satisfaction in these areas in rich detail and determine the focus for our sessions.  This focus area provides an entry point into making shifts in your life that impact each of the other areas in unimaginable ways.  Since all aspects of wellness are intricately connected, making positive changes in one area creates space for powerful changes in all areas.

Wellness coaching works in two directions:  it builds on the positive neuroplasticity powers of the brain while simultaneously supporting you as you design action toward achievable goals.

Neuroplasticity means that the brain has the power to change.  The more we train the brain, the more those pathways are reinforced.  Coaching sessions and exercises capitalize on this ability and give you the tools necessary to build a strong foundation of positive experiences.  The stronger the foundation, the greater the momentum for change.

While working towards your goals, we will get clear about your vision and its importance to you.  You will identify resources to help you move toward your ideal, develop the skills necessary for success, and build the confidence to move forward at a pace that is right for you.

I recommend a series of 6 sessions to achieve maximum benefit.  This includes the initial entry point session and then 5 core sessions of coaching.  Most clients begin to see major benefits after 3 sessions and feel that things really come together after the 5th session. 

Integrative Nutrition 

Your nutrition evaluation begins with an intensive nutrition questionnaire and several surveys designed to determine your health history, patterns, lifestyle, and preferences.  

The analysis of your unique information is followed by an initial consultation that lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours either in person or via Skype.

During your initial consultation, we will thoroughly review your forms, go deeper into your health experiences, discuss your goals, and determine the key areas of focus that will create the greatest impact for your health.

Education, skill building, and devising goals that realistically fit into your life are a large part of the sessions.  

Follow up sessions usually last about 1 hour.

I recommend that you have at least 3 consultations so that we can gauge your progress and fine tune suggestions specifically for you. Over the course of these sessions, you will make changes at a reasonable pace and establish the necessary foundation for long-term success.
